Hey folks. As someone else mentioned our XHP Series LED Headlights are VERY popular. We're not on this forum as much unfortunatly but we pop in from time to time, so sorry if we're not here often to answer questions (always available via PM).

Anyway if you head over to our site and check out our XHP Series LED Headlights (all over the front page as they are VERY popular) you'll find them.

They don't cause glare to oncoming drivers and were designed to work very well in halogen housings. We've even turned a few of the "LED HATERS" On here over to them.

Once you try them you'll know why they are so popular, because they just work and don't cause glare.

12,000 of raw lumen per kit. Available for your headlights and fog lights.

Use the VEHICLE SPECIFIC section of our site to see some options/etc... as we put together "kits" for the 2015+ F-150s specifically to aid with installation.

Do you have a thread where you have output shots? And how much light are the actually putting out. "raw lumens" doesn't count for usable light on the road.

2008_xl did a full write up. It's a couple threads down. Very good for a LED setup. No glare which is nice. I actually recommend them to people that don't wanna spend the money on retro or want the OEM look. Few happy people with them. Only complaint is it seems that in high beam one headlight hot spot is bigger than the other.

I installed a set of leds I got off of amazon and had the same problem. Basically they use the 9004 connector pattern for both the 9004 and 9007s. ( the ground and I believe the low beam are switched around in 9007) You might just have to switch the ground pin and the low beam pin on your connector. Hope this helps!

What year is your truck Tom? 9007 are for the 1997-1998 F-150. The 2004-2014 Use the H13... so not sure why you were tying to use a 9004 bulb...
2015+ use H11 for lows and 9005 for highs

It's a 2002. I was using a 9007 bulb which is what my truck uses. The low beam feed and the ground pins were switched around from factory, so that the pins had the same layout as the 9004 plug. The lights were bought off of amazon and came from China... go figure.

It's not uncommon to have a 9004 and 9007 plug be used as one and having to swap wires. Same for H13 and I can't remember the other number. Even in the relay harness I use for my retros you have to swap 2 wires. But they won't have the problem the OP is having.

I'll be ordering a set of those for my '05 . I have a set of G6's made by Phillips (IIRC), they are pretty good but I do question glare though nobody has flashed me yet and I set them up for the cutoff line same as the stockers. I prefer to get the best and brightest ones without causing oncoming driver issues, having good lights have saved me multiple times from deer hits . Need to get LED's for the fog lights as well.
