Default Need help! Heater fan won't shut off
The heater fan in my wife's 2007 Expediton wont shut off. It's been this way for the last two days and has done it intermitently for the last year. The controls on the dash and on the wheel will not shut if off or up/down. The on/off switch for the entire system will not work during these periods either. The rear system is fine and has never done this.

Any ideas of what to look for? Thanks

 

Switch or maybe a relay not sure??

 

So its working fine this morning but I know its only a matter of time before it gets stuck again


Thinking it cant be the switch since the one on the steering wheel wont shut if off either. I was thinking a relay though

 

I have a similar issue in my 2011 F150. Blower stays in high regardless of auto or manual mode. Not real sure where to start looking or what to test.

 

If you're having difficulty tracking down the issue, yellowsvt_03, you might want to get your dealership involved. How many miles are on your truck?
