It may not be the smartest money management....but it sure beats owing!

Ok, if that is what works best for you. I always want to owe some. Means they didn't get to use my money for free, I kept it invested for me.

Come on now, the government never spends our money frivolously.

Stealth...there are those who would find irony in your sig compared with what you said.

By the way...I just try to get it so they owe me just a little bit. Not too much.

I look at it as money well spent.

For two years in a row (2003 & 2004) I got a check in the mail from Farmers Insurance. One years was probably because they announced many carriers were overcharging us Texans.

I don't remember why they sent me the checks now, but I can tell you- there's nothign better than opening the mailbox, and finding $300 dollars in it. Except fiding the $300 twice.

They were going to introduce us to Ben in 2005 when we added the 3rd car, so we left and went to Progressive...

No surprise checks from Progressive in the last two years... No siree..

So, USAA huh???

Hmmm, I pass right by their Dallas office on my way home too....

LOL-

While the F-22 may prove to be the badass in the skies, with no enemies to fight, I'm still glad we have it... Frivilous, though it may be.

It may come in handy, should the Independence Day ships ever descend upon us... They've got to be better against the aliens than the F-18's were.

USAA Rocks big time! I was with state farm for 24 years. Not a single claim. I switched to USAA and 6 months later my son totals his mom's car. Only his rates went up. The still financed his dirt bike and F-150. Havent checked the mail today, hope my check is in there.

Funny story...I got my dividend check some years ago. I whooped and hollared and ran to the bank to deposit it. So I'm talking to my parents the next day and I ask them if they got their check yet as they used USAA as well. My dad says "Hmmmm.....they sent you a check....I'll call you back, I have to go dig through the garbage as I thought it was just a statement!"
