Seal??
I had posted this in the 97 f150 threads and was told i had posted in the wrong forum. So now i am confused as to what truck i have LOL. It does say F250xl 2wd and i have 7 bolt rims but its not a diesel. Anyway.
My issue copied from the other thread.
After taking apart the front wheels and removing the rotors/bearings i found this part attached to the knuckle. I has two mounting bolts to the knucke. A second part which appears to be a felt or leather seal fits inside of it. I have been ubable to locate the part or number. Any ideas of the name number and where to find???? Thanks

I call 'em the heavy halfs. Ford's stopgap measure in the '97-'98 model year from the transition of the '97 F-250HD and F-350 that looked like a '96, and the '99 Superduty was the F-250LD. Body style of the '97 F-150 with seven lug rims, a 9.75 sterling semi float rear, and either a 4.6 or 5.4 V8. In '99 the same truck was renamed the F-150 7700 to not compete with the Superduty F-250 name.
Can't get your picture to come up on a work computer, but I'll take a look when I get a chance.
