Hello everyone was wondering if anyone could help me out with a broken passenger side mirror. I am hoping that I don't have to replace the entire mirror. The part that is broken is the metal bracket that folds the mirror in and out. We do have power mirrors and the full replacement is over $500. Is there any way to get just the bracket?

I believe you need a whole mirror. If the skull cap is painted, you should be able to transfer it to the new one.


If you waited long enough you probably could find a donor somewhere, but it would be just as easy to just replace it. Even then some of those type of parts are designed to be assembled once, and not torn down and rebuilt.
