Thumbs up Keeping your Tips in Tip top shape

A little trick for chrome tips. If they are new spray DULL aluminum high temp spray pant inside them. If you have had them awhile clean them out with a SOS pad and then spray them. Most exhaust actually rust from the inside out. The reason that this happens is because your car sucks in humidity and not all of it get evaporated. At the end of your tail pipe it is at a lower temp so it will not evaporate. The layer of paint will help prevent premature rusting. Hope this will help

yup that is a good tip. I though about doing it when i painted my calipers silver a few weeks ago. Didn't get to it yet, but i will soon. But i'm not gonna spray it in. Don't like overspray. I'll just do like i did w/ the calipers and spray it in a container and paint it on with a brush.
