Ihave a 97f-150 with a 4.2 v-6 witha fault code 1537 (intake manifoldrunner contoll bank 1 stuck open),Ihave no idea what this is or where to start looking. Engine idle is rough and acceleration is poor . I would appreciate any and all help that's out there Thanks Bruce in Phoenix

This is the lower intake manifold (after the upper intake has been removed). The vacuum motors are on the back. One has the 2 blue wires coming out of it. IMRC locations.
The IMRC plates are inside of the lower intake manifold and should be closed below 3,000 RPM's. They are not at all easy to get at. What I'd do is check all of the vacuum lines as well at the connections to the motors on the back of the engine.
