I picked up a code alarm 530 remote start, as my understanding is that the Ford OEM "Silver" remote starters are actually rebranded CA-530s. Problem is I really hate the key fobs and like the OEM fobs better. I've actually heard of people using the ford fusion keys that have the buttons build right into the head of the key itself and getting them to work with the OEM systems.

Is it possible within reason to use an OEM Ford fob with a CA-530?
