I recently took my truck to Gaudin Ford for service. I have a 1996 F150 300 with 24,000 miles. The truck had a small oil leak and wanted it fixed. The truck was diagnosed with a leaking rear main seal and they recommended oil pan gasket and trans pan gasket replacement. I told them to go ahead and replace all the seals and gaskets to prevent any future leaks $1100 bill. This all took place in August 2013. I picked the truck up when they called to say it was done. I picked up the truck and drove it home.

8/13The next day oil still leaking, (Oil Plug) they claim.
9/13 Still leaking oil was told it was from build up on axel
10/13 Still leaking from same spot. Dealer cant find leak they inject dye in oil.
12/13 Still leaking same spot cant track leak. More dye added.
2/14 still leaking oil filter changed
3/14 Still leaking same spot (inspection plate gasket) $386 to fix
3/14 Still leaking after fix inspection plate gasket (1st attempt)
3/14 Still leaking after fix inspection plate gasket (2nd attempt)
3/14 still leaking after fix inspection plate gasket (3rd attempt)

They told me to drive it for 2 weeks and bring it back. It continues to leak from the same spot.

I am hoping to have this repair done at one of the other Ford dealerships.

Still a truck leaking oil and no help from FORD. BBB has been contacted hopefully Ford service can help me out.
