New Front End.....Your opinion wanted

I had the truck in the body shop for an accident repair. Confession is good for the soul.......my fault... The good folks at the repair shop offered to order painted parts rather than the chrome pieces. He through in the honeycomb grille and painted a new clear bugshield that I picked up at AutoZone.

What do you think? Any suggestions on other mods?

He didn't want to paint the lower valance because of the abuse it takes from rocks and bugs.

Looks good! The honeycomb grille looks like an aftermarket product not OEM. Is it? Where did you get it? I've been looking for a replacement for my original honeycomb grille because it has a huge, ugly rock chip in it but so far haven't found anything I was happy with...I like that one!

Thanks wild-mtn-rose!

The grill is OEM, not aftermarket. A friend has a honeycomb grille but his is a gray color. Mine is black which may account for it looking different. He considered painting his after seeing mine.

They did a great job! I like the new look, and painting the bug shield was a wise move!

Thanks dzervit!

The neat thing about the bug shield is that they painted it on the back side. It won't chip. Just wipe it clean.
