well, looks like some kids rubbed some rubbing compound into my truck the other night. theres like a stripe of dull paint running along the side of my truck - obviously the clear coat has been removed here.

any way to take care of this situation without having to take it to the shop?

 

That's a shame!

I would take it to a detailing shop, or body shop and let them give you an idea what you are up against. It might just need a buffing........... or it might need painting?
