Hey guys I need some new bumpers and wanted to get the matching metallic grey color rather than the chrome for my 04 f-150 and I saw that there were se out there! I was wondering if those were custome jobs or if I could find them somewhere! Thanks

 

For an 04, the only way you're going to get the color matched to your truck is to find them used for sale, pull them from a junkyard, or get a set custom painted.

 

The ones you see are usually not custom jobs. The STX and FX4 trims come with paint to match bumpers.

Your best best if to buy some primed ones and have them painted the color of your truck. Used ones will probably have a lot of rock chips and need to be repainted anyway.

Lastly, since you have a 2004, you need to make sure you get 04-05 bumpers. While 06-08 look similar, they mount differently and won't plug n play.
