You'd probably have a market for them! I'd certainly buy one.

I'm quite surprised that nobody currently makes them or ever made them for the 2006 and up trucks. That area of the bumper is really the only thing that looks unfinished from the factory.

Just get yer self a used grill off this forum and cut away. Sometimes it pays to be creative

Thanks Big. This can be a little tricky with a sawzall or jig saw so I used a big bandsaw. If anyone is in the N E Ohio area and wants to stop by and use it, feel free. Or send me one and I'll cut it up real good like!

That's my plan. My question is, how did you mount it?

X2.. It seems easy enough to cut, but how is it mounted?

Also, how much did you pay for the used one?

Thanks,

Uh, how much, I think it was $28.00 from my buddy, because that was all I had in my wallet at the time and as far as mounting...

Looks good BAD DRVR.
But if you want to use it with a H-grill the honeycombs are a bit bigger then the H-grill honeycombs. I went with a bit smaller honeycombs because the hole in the bumper is smaller. I took the grill off a older toyota car and it fits very close. $2.00 from a wrecking yard. I took the 2 honeycomb grills from a montana mini van for my hood openings and cut to size. If you want a grill down there, you are most likely going to have to make one.

That looks fantastic Powerz. Really clean and the color combo is sweet.

However, If I could offer a little tip since it seems like you are into detail. Get two other people, a creeper and a big socket wrench, and loosen that bumper, have the two people lift, then tighten the bumper.

I think it will make a big difference

Thanks! I'm going to have to try to tighten up that bumper space now. I never noticed it before, it's kinda big.

Hell, maybe you could get some more honeycomb from the yard and customize that gap!

That is a great idea!!! My bumper has a large gap from the factory, as well. I wonder why Ford let so many of them out the door with a huge gap if it is that easy to fix...
