Yea pulled the stock bolts. There is actually a 4th bolt between all three. It is a threaded boss on the head which is raised and there is a corresponding hole on the mounting plate for it. It is raised so that when it is flush against the plate the other 3 mounting spots has abut a 2-3 washer thick gap with the spacer in place. This boss pushes the plate 2-3 washers forward. Either it will line up with the additional washers or I can ? mill the plate where the boss is, or space out the blower pulley. We'll see haw the alignment goes.

Good day today, 36lb injectors installed- now I know why they did the FMU- injectors are a tough job. Relocated the PS, coil pack, MAP, and another sensor?. Pulled off the coil bracket and tried the SC mounting plate and the spacers are too short- will get some washers to space out.

Have to unwrap one harness for the MAP, coil pack, and cam timing sensor and redirect the wires and rewrap it with wires going different ways.

Will mount the larger 75mm throttle body later. Maybe energize the fuel pump and make sure no leaks- that would suck.

Now the question is how will the spacing all align up with the crank and SC pulleys.

the injectors are easier to swap (takes about 15 minutes to do them) than the FMU

I wish it only took 15 minutes. On a truck with 115k miles and in 40 degree weather those o rings were stuck, could get the rail off and pulling them out was a knuckle buster especially the back 2 injectors. Putting the new ones in with stiff cold o rings was just as tough. BUt in the end they are all in and rails bolted down and no leaks.

Well problem solved on the 4th bolt/boss. Used the spacers + 2 washers and was tightening all 4 down and there was about a 1/2 washer gap between the boss and the plate and when tightening it, 1/2 of the boss broke off, about a quarter inch worth, just what was needed so I will take the other 1/2 off with a die grinder and use the 3 bolts with just the spacers and no washers and mount it all up and check the pulley alignment. Never a dull day.

Got the pulleys aligned up. Need to align the tensioner. Got the MAF and intake tubing done, just need to clamp down. Pics later.

Exactly, no room for an intercooler. The IAT sensor is just plugging the hole in the discharge tube for now but I will use it to log discharge temps during testing and then I will pull that out and add methanol injection nozzle to that spot. I expect discharge IAT's of ?150-180 degrees at 8-9 lb boost and hope the methanol will bring it down to 100 degrees. Not looking to use the meth as a 'fuel' just cooling and might just use the windshield washer fluid reservoir and washer fluid to inject. Coolingmist.com has a system I am looking at.

It fit with the stock radiator fan! No need for electric upgrades.

It started on the stock tune and no fuel leaks! Still have to finish the intake hoses/bypass connections, install the boost gauge and the load the tune today.

Done with the install!!

Started right up. Sniper program worked perfect. Idle smooth, no air leaks, reved easily, belt and pulleys straight and tight.

Test drive- Just as stock when driving easily. Got easy to 3-5 lbs with no detonation, shifted much firmer with the Sniper set at mild shift firmness. Pulled very well for 3-5 lbs boost.

Programed for 91 octane but have 93 in it so even though no wideband O2 sensor or meth injection installed yet ? Do I do a WOT pull and see the max boost? I have the UltraGauge installed and am monitoring the Timing, IAT, short and long term fuel trim and mass air.

Sniper/Delta Force- Same thing? What problems did you have?

What are your intake temps? You are intercooled, Right?

no dude...do not boost that truck anymore until you get it on the dyno. You need to correct the AFR/timing and everything else so it doesn't go BOOM

The coolingmist kit works OK for me, basic with no fail-safe system, though.

You may need to revisit the iat and meth locations to have it work best. The spray from the meth nozzle should spray onto the iat sensor so the pcm registers that things are cooling down. If you place the meth nozzle in the current iat position, it will go directly to the throttle plate.

The short side radius of the intake tube will have the fastest strongest air flow, and that is where I would place the nozzle and sensor.
