Relocating Roush Intercooler (Pics)
Well a few members convinced me to go ahead with this mod and let me tell you it was a pain in the ***! Lots of trouble shooting and learning along the way but I think it came out pretty clean for my first fabrication like this.
Materials/Tools:
Aluminum (2inch and 1inch wide)
Aluminum Square Block (3/4)
1/4 by 3inch screw
(2) 1/4 by 1inch screws
(3) 1/4 locking nuts
(6) 1/4 washers
(4) Original Roush screws
(2) Self taping screws
Large Drill (1/4 drill bit)(3/4 circular saw bit)
Small! Drill (phillips bit for self taping screws)
Ratchet (8mm and 10mm)
Sand paper fine grit
Duplicolor High heat engine paint
Painters Tape and newspaper
8ft 3/4 radiator tubing
(4) Original Roush hose clamps
Pliers
Scissors
50/50 radiator fluid

I haven't been on the dyno or track since to do run after run and really feel that loss in timing but from everyday drivin the truck feels like it is running smoother and breathing a little better...it could all be in my head though.
