Why would you buy .380? Sell the firearm, and go with a .45.

Also, you should have bought most of what you needed last summer...before the election.

probably cheaper to keep what he has, it makes holes, and dead intruders..

why stop at the 45? get a 44 mag and kiss the barrel each time.

Was looking for .380 at the beginning of summer. Nobody had any. Called the Bass Pro Shop 20 miles up the road one morning. The guy said they just got some in the night before. Made a bee line straight there. Told the guy behind the counter I wanted some .380s. He said, "A couple?" (boxes). I told him, "A couple a ten." Glad I bought 10 boxes. Haven't seen any since.

This gun never needs ammo. Works well for bank robbers too...just keep it in your pocket.

It's been sporadic for just about everything. I'm wishing now I had a 9mm it seems to be the easiest to find.

Did pick a box of .45acp and .44mag at walmart. First time they had some in months. The sporting goods guy said that there should be more coming. I guess all the hoarders are getting stocked up.

Working on my own little hoard now. Need at least 1000 rds of .357, .45acp, and .44 mag

.380 has been crazy-hard to find. I think a combination of tons of new gun owners after the election, crazy metal prices, and record sales for .380 pistols (especially the Ruger LCP) has caused the shortage.

I reload my own plinking/practice .380 rounds, but even those components (primers, bullets) are in short supply.

I ordered some Golden Saber defense rounds from Cabelas in August, knowing they were backordered. Received them a few weeks ago, mid-Oct. You might want to just order some from someplace that takes backorders and wait.
