Fog lights behind roush grille?

Just brainstorming really. Any ideas on how effective they will be behind a roush grille? Common sense tells me that they work as well as they would behind a stock mesh grille.

I'm sure there's an opinion some where, or does everyone unanimously agree?

im sure it would work, light output might reduced a little

i would go with a PTM bumper with fog lights though

Edit: and dont forget to throw on an FX2 valence

I can't see me dropping almost $1000 on a set of bumper, then having them painted, then buying the fog lights, then having someone install the correct switch. Maybe I need to start shopping with a socket wrench at the mall.

bumper off ebay/craigslist $250 max
Fog lights + assemblies $100
powder coat both bumpers $300 max
----------
$650
sell your bumper -150
-----------
roughly $500 and your truck would look sweet

I wouldn't bother with it, the bars are much too close to get a decent beam output. It would only look cool when lit at night looking at the truck.

Use a mesh grille, lots of light will get through!

get the bumper, and piaa fogs, the factory switch is really easy to wire up yourself if you are halfways mechanically inclined
