Very PO'd right now-video

I got the Hooker Max Flow welded up today. He also deleted my rear cats. I have 2.5 inlet and dual 2.25 outlets into 2.5 tailpipes all the way back. The truck sounds factory. You can hear the engine over the exhuast. Idle you dont even know the engine is running nor in cab. I can already tell I'm going to be grinding the starter alot thinking my trucks not started.

I HOPE there is just a break-in time for this thing.Cause right now it SUCKS! If Its going to sound like this I'm rippin it down and getting an Aerochamber like the original plan was!

ON THE BIRGHT SIDE(there is one?)

I FINALLY know what a 5.4 feels like. Prior to this install I was just running no muffler, cut off under the rear pass seat. It felt like it would wind up forever, be really loud, but I was going nowhere! Now I have that low end torque these things are know for. And the powerband in 2nd from 2800 on up is AMAZING!!!

I havent taken any videos of this thing yet, I'm still really ticked off

Maybe the muffler didn't like the Chevy or on a serious note, installed backward?

I don't care for Hookers on a mustang, but I haven't heard them on a f150.

Don't Expeditions have more sound deadening material than F150's, seeing as they are mainly mom-mobiles?

Deadening materials??? uh no....

I have STOCK manifolds, PRE-CATS ONLY, 2.5 inlet into muffler, dual 2.5's out...

Maximum Flow Muffler
Part Number 21803HKR

Universal Turbo Style, Long Case (22")
2 1/2" Center Inlet - 2 1/4" Dual, Offset Outlets

The Hooker Maximum Flow muffler actually flows 99% and produces more horsepower
and torque than a 21/2” open pipe. The Maximum Flow is constructed of all aluminized and
stainless steel and uses a high temperature packing material to absorb excessive noise while allowing
a mellow powerful sound. As with all absorption type silencers, the Maximum Flow will be most effective
for sound control with lower compression (8.5 to 1 and lower) motors with conservative Camshafts
and with applications using catalytic converter(s). The Maximum Flow flows either direction,
allowing for easy installation.
