Zone Offroad Suspension Lifts

Anybody running one? From what I've read on other forums Zone is a division of BDS and the lifts are basically the same but don't carry the Lifetime warranty. They have a nice 4" kit for the 04-08s thats is $1,299. They also make 6" kits for the 04-08s and the 09-10s. I've read good reviews on their GM and Jeep kits, anyone here running one?

They also make 1.5" body lifts for the GM trucks which have a lot of good reviews. 1.5" combined with a leveling kit would be great for just a little extra clearance. Hopefully they offer that as an option for the F150s soon.

Hmm I've never heard of them. Idk about a 1.5in bl. It just seems kind of pointless to me. A lot of work for such little gains.

BDS doesnt make a 4" kit, for the amount of lift and price , sounds like Rough Country.

and like Dillon said a 1.5" Body lift would be alot of work for a little gain

Trail Master makes both a 4" and a 6" kit for that truck that is very competitively priced considering that they come with drive lines and Kevlar brake lines. The 4" kit is a strut spacer, the 6" is a full strut replacement.

I've seen the 6" kit going for $1600 or so.

Edit: Even better price http://www.central4wd.com/category.aspx?page=id%7C98364

$2100 out the door? What are they doing about the driveline for that price?

I work for Performance Automotive Group, which owns Trail Master, Performance Accessories, and OR Fab.

That kit does not come with strut supports. I'd pass.

their doing what their supposed to do, installing the lift and everything that comes with the lift.

i ran the lift for 30k miles and gave it hell and never had one problem. any one will agree bds is one of the top lift kits for quality. i would recommend both the shop who did the install and the lift to anybody who asked about it.

Sounds like you found a good shop. The instructions for that kit say that driveline modifications "may" be needed, which usually means they are. Some other manufacturers include the mods needed in the instructions, some don't. The most common way to modify that driveline is to seperate it and realign it. You can also put a spacer in it. Unfortunately, a lot of installers don't do this and leave you with a slight vibration, which will eventually cause problems. Good find!

Has anyone ran the trailmaster 6" lift to tell us how it is. Haven't really heard much on it, but looks like a good kit.

i learned the hard way i needed a longer driveshaft w/ the 6'' kit on my truck: the transfer case was leaking fluid like a sieve. fabtech made no mention of the possibility, of requiring driveshaft modifications. other than that, i've had absolutely no problems w/ the kit.
