'08 3.55 to 4.10 swap

I was at the dealership getting some warranty work done on my power steering and I asked the Service Advisor about how much replacing the 3.55's I have in my '08 2wd rear to 4.10's would cost. She said that I needed to talk to the parts department to see if 4.10's would fit in my housing... I didn't have time to go ask, so I'm posting here now; Will 4.10's fit in the same housing that the 3.55's are in? Thanks in advance!

Of course they will fit, but you would be better off with 4.30's instead of 4.10's. The service department is going to charge you an arm and a leg to do the swap, so would also be better off having a reputable performance shop do it.

I put a set of 4.10s and put in a posi tract myself! and im only 18! had my pap show me the ropes of a rear end though it wasnt too bad and made a pretty dramatic difference! also if you go down the high way alot I would recommend stayin with 4.11s and not go with the 4.30s

Yeah, that's why I'm going with the 4:10's. Just need a little extra help off the line
