MAD might have done better. There is a guy on NLOC that taking his L apart. Did you resuse your speed control cable? If not then you will need a new one as well. Its just shorter, end is the same. Unlike the throttle cable which had a different end on it, at least mine did.

I just did a L swap and had the same issue. I needed the L throttle cable and i wasnt paying what a dealer wanted, i thought it was $100 when i called but i could be wrong. I used the n/a cable and pulled the cable through the top of the pedal until it was tight and put two hose clamps on it holding it to the pedal. It didnt cost me anything and it is working. I stomped on it over and over trying to get it to come loose or slip and it hasnt. It has about 150 miles on it and 6 dyno pulls without an issue. I will post a pic in a few.

All i am going to say is it works. I first tried zip ties but couldnt get them tight enough, so i used a hose clamp. I put two hose clamps on for safe measures and cut the zip ties off, i took the picture when i was still perfecting it. The zip ties are off and it is just the two clamps. I figured worse case senario both clamps magically break i still got 1/2 throttle to get back to the house on.

Sounds like it will if you can keep the excess inner cable secured. Problem is that at the throttle body side you have all this excess inner cable that NA throttlebody needs but L/HD throttle body does not. So the problem is not the overall length of the cable, ie jacket but the inner cable as it attaches to throttlebody.

If you are refering to the electrical conection i used an injector clip. My tuner told me when i ordered the pump to not order the pig tail but to cut the injector plug off of an old harness and use it that it was the same. I had a few old wiring harnesses that i have collected and cut a conector off and it worked. It snaps right on, and it didnt cost me **** once again. I hope this helps and meets everyone's standards.
