new dirtlogic coilovers

when i put them in how far do i have to crank them down to be level like i am now ,i have a 6 inch procomp stage 1, and do i have to unhook my balljoint to put them in or will they fit right in?

you cant just pop the old one out and slide the new one in ithout doing anything else haha.

you need to take the tire off, unbolt the tie rod, unbolt the upper control arm, swing the knuckle out of the way then unbolt your exisiting set up, put in the coilover and bolt it back together, make sure the misalignment spacers are in the right places.


and its trial and error on the height setting, just mess with it.

ok thanks man , and do i have to get an alighment ? or only if i crank it? bc i might crank them 2 inches

I think you should start off with about an inch of threads above the spanner nut. See how that comes out and adjust from there.

I cranked and I needed an alignment.

Is it cheaper to go with the Pro Comp Stage 1 and Dirt Logics than the complete Fabtech kit? What would be the difference?

i went to put on my coilovers and the big bottom bolt for the control arm is to big to fit in the coilover, wat do i do ? and do i need a bushin for inbetwen? bc other wise it would mover around...please help me

i had a shop do mine, but when they did they had a problem with getting the coilovers in and in the process scratch my springs and up where it says fabtech, so you might you keep playing with it till you get in there
