Hey, txarsoncop can you answer a couple of questions for me? That’s the cover I’m looking at cause it says it can hold up over 500 pounds, figure that would be the more secure one.
- 1. How well does it seal? Have you had any dust or rain get inside?
- 2. I hear about the keyless thing, but it will also still have a keyed lock on it right? In the event you don’t want to have to open the tailgate?
- 3. Does it really secure well? I see where you’re talking about getting an electric lock and see you have the tailgate lock…..is that not good enough?
Not being smart or confrontational I’m just a first time Ford buyer and this is the first time I’ve had a truck with the locking tailgate. Are they good or can scumbags still get it open?
