my bumper paint is flaking

my truck is barely over 1 year old. i baby it. about a year ago i got the clear coat wax stuff from zeibart. yesterday i noticed on the plastic peice of the bumper between the steel bumper and the fenders/grille has some flaking on the corners. its flaking to the primer. any ideas why? is this common? im pissed about this cause of the trucks age.

Sounds like warranty work, unless the bumper has bumped something (or something bumped your bumper) to cause it to flake.

well its just out of the bumper to bumper, and no its doing it to both corners and its just flaking to the primer with no signs of bumping or scratching

I too have heard this, but I can't find it in my warranty paperwork. You should call the dealer just to find out. Tell them your situation. Maybe they will look at your truck and decide that it has 35999 miles on it.

Go to a dealer that you are on good terms with as well, they generally try to work for you a bit.

Also, to edit my previous post after doing some more digging around:

Paint- 3yr/36K
Corrosion- 5yr/Unlimited

That is one thing that gets me. Why can you only get certain things fixed at the place where you bought it? Is it a different Ford there? WTH!? That is a problem with my parent's F150 and Expedition. With my Mustang, no one really seems to care and I just take it wherever and it gets done...
