Looks like these Visteon Coil Packs might be the best bet? Visteon Coil Packs

Visteon name instead of Motorcraft so they are about $25 cheaper for the set, but are actually a Ford part.

I have two sets good Motorcrafts on the shelf. Also have allot of bad Motorcrafts in the drawer.

I have an old set of Globals from over 2 years ago that I just replaced. Nothing wrong with them, just wanted new. Just installed a new set.

I won't buy anything but Globals for obviouse reasons.

Visteon ? No , not Motorcrafts. Go ahead, give them a try and let us know how it pans out

At three times the price. Why??? I heard nothing but good things about global. Maybe crappy customer service. but that is it. If you're worried about getting a bad one, just order the V10 set. That way you have 2 extra. So if you do get one broken, go ahead and install, then deal with getting the replacement.

Looking at their warranty though, if I bought them for my father's truck, would I still be able to get a replacement since you have to send in a copy of the current vehicle registration? Bad customer service can be much more than that later on...

Get them from Uneeksupply on Ebay, I am hearing on this forum that their customer service is excellent. Pretty sad that you have to buy a V10 package from Global to make sure you have 2 extra in case you run into a problem and have to fight with them to get a replacment. Took them 4+ wks to get me my replacement. Thankfully I had a good COP to replace the one that was junk from the box. Next time I am going to Uneek for sure.

Yeah, I was looking at their feedback too. Some of their replies for negative feedback was pretty childish as well. Poor representation IMO.

I was looking at these as well: Coils. They look to be the same exact thing, but the seller has a better feedback rating (granted not as many either) and it is much closer to where I am at so I can get them faster. I will look at Uneek too. I am actually trying to find them right now.

I would buy from Global - Uneek is to new to this forum. Their statistics can't even compare to Globals.

What's sad is what Motorcraft charges and there's NO warranty. Two or three people on this site have a bad experience and try end anothers world because of it.

There's thousands over that last 3 years here that have nothing but good to say about their coils. Those statistics aren't just US - There nation wide.

Uneeks new to this forum, we need guinee pigs so have at it

Those aren't coil packs AND your truck doesn't use coil packs. You have a COP system, you have coils.

Coil packs are used on early 4.6L's and 4.2's.

A big plus for me buying from Uneek is they should be here in like a day for me since they ship out of So-Cal. Otherwise, my dad will have to borrow my truck for half a week which wouldn't be too good for me because it is a DD right now.
