Anyone know what the next financing deal Ford is going to offer on the 09. The current 6.9 percent ends nov 18th

 

it's 0.0% for 3 years and no rebates. i think it's 4.9% for 5 years.

 

plus $2000 more towards your trade in.

 

From what the ford person told me that offer has ended but im getting conflicting results from them on this. Dealer says it aint finished but ford says it is???

 

I just checked the ford web site and it say no incentives for 08 or 09s Hope they are just lagging on updating the site!

 

Yeah they are def behind on the site. But still i think i may have been wrong about the 0.0% apr. They have told me not to expect anything on the 09 f150.

 

I just check a local San Diego ford dealer (Grody ford)web site and it does call out 0.0% for 3 years on the 2009s

Pittsburgh dealer had this on their website today for the 09 F150, good through 1/5/09:

0% APR for 36 mo
5.9% APR for 48 mo
6.9% APR for 60 mo
8.9% APR for 72 mo

 

Well if thats the correct amounts then they aint really changed since last month. 0% APR is almost impossible to get without a 900+ credit score and most people dont want a $700-$1200 payment for a car/truck each month. Nothing special again then. Looks like im stuck paying top $.

 

Yep I just did the math and no way I can pull off a 3 year payment plan even @ 0.0% If they had the 7 year plan (like I did for college) then I would be all over it!

 

Yeah i dont earn bad money but to only offer 0.0%apr over 3 years is just stupid. They arnt even doing a good deal for 4 or 5 year APR's. They clearly think that people have these silly amounts of money to splash away with and they wonder why they aint selling anything lol.

 

7 year loan wouldn't be bad. might help them sell more. heck, if you're going to go in on a 6 year, another year ain't going to matter if you plan on keeping the truck for at least 5 years anyway.

I've always bought Ford trucks on the A-plan, bought at the end of model years with incentives on top, and never been upside down (not a noticable difference anyway) when i traded. Last year, i bought a used 2005 F-150, and I'm $5k upside down !!!.. Proves to me, that if you buy brand new on the A-plan, add on incentives, I'll come out a lot better when it's time for me to trade in. I about want to throw up every time i think about being $5k upside down in this truck i have now.

 

How about the $2000 price reduction once available on the 09 F150? Has that expired, and if not will it apply with 0 per cent financing. Last week I recieved a $750 cash back or Home Depot gift card good on the purchase of any 08 or 09 Ford product including the 09 F150.

 

It sucks to have negative equity on anything but I would rather have it on a truck wich holds value than a car or minivan that doesn't. We got in a wreck with our 06 freestar and now it isn't worth half of what we owe on it cause it has a damage disclosure. We got screwed by the bodyshop bigtime!
