The Pats system instrument clusters ( Lightnings) use a different set of connectors. The speed info first goes to the PCM and then the PCM sends it to the instrument cluster. The Odometer is digital while the 97 cluster uses an analog odometer with tumblers. It is not something that I wouls want to attempt.
