I have a screaming deal on an M90 with the square port but am not sure what all I will need to put it on... Anyone with some ideas? I have the basic idea but need the finer details,

 

honestly its not worth putting on. Go with a M112 or a turbo.

I agree, the M90 is too small, better to go with the M112, but there are a ton of other parts you need, but the most important is the adapter plate to mount it on the v6 intake, since they were made for the v8 motors as a direct bolt on. Only one place for sure has one for sale atm, thats supersixmotorsports.com, but they want $900 for it. I can confirm that Tom Morana(sp) is working on the same thing but instead of a box like SSM, his will just be the plate which would save about 1-2" of clearance. No clue on price yet or even if his R&D is done yet.

Either way be prepared to spend $2000+ for a SC setup on these motors.

 

You would get the same power #'s from heads, P&P intakes, and a cam. It would also be more efficient than the small M90.

Its just useless to put a m90 on a 4.2. Its not even a good idea to put a supercharger on one because of power los do to being belt driven. But if you are going to do it then go with a M112 like a already stated.

 

I'm not even going to get into this... There is just too many variables when trying to do a custom install.

 

well considering I would have EVERYTHING from the heads and intake to the intercooler and piping... it would be a "bolt on" application as the heads are done to the nuts already, would basically just need to do the ECU to adjust... Cost for donor parts 300 bucks

 

when you say intake you mean you have an upper intake that will bolt up directly with the M90 and to your motor without the adapter plate?
