New guy, old question!

I bought a 2006 FX4 supercab on Tuesday, and I want to put exhaust on the truck. I've been searching on the net, and it seems there is a couple of different systems. The Gibson looks pretty good....but everyone seems to like Maggies! I have Borla Stingers on my Cobra....I don't think I'd want it that loud. I am open to suggestion...I know nothing about these trucks, but this site is helping out alot!

Borla Pro XS would be a great choice. Excellent performance and great sound.

Borla is 304 stainless, it wont rust at all. Magnaflows, although they wont rust through, will develop surface rust and turn a nasty color.

You wont find a higher quality muffler than Borla.

Maggies all the way, I've got a true dual setup with high flow cats and an x pipe. Check out the sound clip in the signature!

CORSA - search that term and you'll find lots of posts and sound clips.

I have a Corsa Sport and its great - nice rumble when you step on it but no drone when cruising at highway speeds.
Or if you want quieter with nice tone, you can try Corsa Touring

If your looking to invest a pretty big hunk of money then a Borla or Corsa cat-back would suit you. I would replace your muffler with a Magnaflow 14" body muffler though, nice respectable low note, real deep toned. Have the shop install it and run tailpipes however with your choice of tips.

borla corsa and gibson are over priced if you ask me but its your truck and your choice. i'd go with the magnaflow muffler and have a shop make the pipes if you want deep tone. if you want loud go with true duals with magnaflow x pipe and two maggie high flow cats.

Great suggestion , and if you want to hear this setup, click the video link in my sig. Not TOO loud, and very quiet on the highway!

The Borla Pro XS can be had for ~125 bucks on summit, then have a shop weld it in for 50 bucks or so, and get a nice tip. Less than 200 bucks spent and you will NEVER have to replace your exhaust again. Off the charts performance and awesome sound, highest quality there is. Oh, and it will be shiny and new looking 5 years from now too.
