I just got screwed in this deal!

I just ordered a pro comp stage 1 lift from 4wheelparts.com, evidently it was thier last lift that they had for my truck untill they get the new bulk shipment so they sold it to me for $879.95 free shipping!!! I'm excited as hell right now! I checked the web site right after I ordered and the price jumped right back up to $1447. The cool thing is that I'll be able to upgrade to bilstiens and make it a stage 2 and I'll still be under regular price. This is awesome. lol

scratch all this and see last post!

WOW! That is absolutely unbelievable! Good job!

How did you come across such a good deal? Was that price advertised on their website or did you have to talk to someone??

Adding bilsteins to a stage one 1, doesnt make it a stage 2. adjustable coilvers is whats needed to jump to the stage 2

yeah, sorry I knew better, just real excited when I was typing right after I got off the phone.

It was advertized at the low price, but it was like a one day thing. The sales rep says that happens everytime they run out of stock right before they re order. I've heard bad things about them too... I guess I'm gambling but what the heck right

I'm thinking 35x12.50x17 or 35x12.50x20, looking at some black wheels XD hoss perhaps. As far as tire I may go with a Cooper discover S/t. I think initially I'm going to run my stock wheels with my buddies used dunlap mud rover 35x12.50x17. That way I can save up a few weeks for 20's instead of buying 17's. And that way I can still instal my lift and not look silly with small tires on it.

Pro Comp doesn't recommend running anything more then 5" of backspacing and stock wheels have 5.5". If you're going to run stock wheels I'd keep the stock tire size on

I thought that the Pro Comp kits were made to run with stock wheels & tires.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I run stock tires and rims with your lift kit?

Yes you can for most lift kits with the exception of the 51020MX kit for the 99-04 GM 1500 pickups, the 57089 and 57289 kits for 86-95 IFS Toyota pickups, all of the 88-04 2wd GM lift kits and any 88-04 GM 1500 kit with dual shock hoops.

4 wheel parts for me, customer service in store sucks, but over the phone they are nice.

its 4 W H E E L O N L I N E -------YOU NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM. THEY ARE CROOKS.

AT least you can call corprate office of 4wheel parts and get stuff solved. 4 wheel online told me i was getting one thing but i got another. they did not fix their mistake and it cost me 500 bucks!!!!! the even turned their nose up to the BBB. anyways congrats, getting a good deal is always a good feeling.

Thanks, I remember reading about your problem a while back. That sucks, I would have hoped you'd have something resolved by now.
