I dont believe it was in 4hi either. If you look at the video at 2:15 thats when I enguaged the 4HI, the whole time leading up to that I was in 2wd. When we drained the transfer case it was full of water/mud as was the rear diff. Maybe the gunk wouldnt let the truck engauge correctly. After all the fluids were changed it switches to 4wd easily and the truck runs smooth and shifts smooth.
The tranny,motor, and front diff all had clean oil/fluids.

the only way people learn is through experience. Funny **** though. I had to replace all my spark plugs and cops after the "last run of the night" when I first bought the truck I've got now. It was a scary drive home.
