Factory tint is 20%. Just get your fronts tinted that dark.

15% does match nicely, that is what mine are. but the rears are not technicaly tinted from the factory. they are smoked but do not offer much UV protection and heat reduction. i have all my windows tinted over the factory tint. the rears are a little darker but not too noticably. i dontthink you can remove the factory tint, i could be wrong but why pay for that anyway. just tint overall of them. i noticed a huge heat difference after i tinted mine.

To remove factory tint, you would be replacing windows I believe. Just tint fronts or tint over rears. I put 20% all around, even over OEM tint.

i would get 18% carbon tint in the front and that will match nicely....but maybe 15% or even a little lower if you want a PERFECT match becasue ALOT more light is getting through those windows over the back because its near the windshield....most tint places will know what to do if you jsut tell them to match

You cannot take off factory tint, it is embedded in the glass...I would steer clear of whichever tint shop told you that!

I agree. To check go out to your truck and roll your rear window down partially. Is there an edge to the tint? No. It is part of the glass.

I got 20% in my fronts, the factory rear is 18%, most people get 15% and it matches well.

i went with 15% for my two fronts to match the back and they were too light for me. 2-3 weeks ago i did "limo" 5% all around. love the difference

The shop was full of idiots. Like I said before, to remove tint is to remove the whole window. Don't respond unless you know what your talking about.
