alright guys i need help with one last problem...i am leaking antifreeze from the back of the motor..its only leaking on the passenger side rear when i put about 8 quarts of water in it..it comes out pretty fast..any ideas.

no those are in there for sure..any other ideas on where it could be commin from...heater hoses seem fine..and its comming from the upper passenger side of the motor but not necessarily the heads

it leaks when its off and when it has about 8 quarts of fluid in it.so it is for sure comming from the top though and is the heater core the only other place it could be coming from..just tryin to gather up some ideas so i can drive this beast home today..thanks for all the help guys

well if its not a freeze plug, and not coming from the head, the heater core has a barb from the intake manifold which sits about 4" high and should have a 90 in the top of it, and there is also a hard line that wraps around the back of the head that comes directly from the back side of the water pump.

alright guys i have plenty of pics to put up when i get some time truck has no leaks and runs good cam sounds sick...i do have a little problem i could use some help with though...the truck seems kinda boggy, could that be because im still runnin stock injectors yet? im gettin 42lbers but dont have them yet..thanks

no im still on the 19lb tune..thats why i think its just the fuel injectors,because it seems like everything else is fine..


are lightning fuel injectors a direct replacement and does there maf plug into my wiring without any modification...thanks

L maf is plug n play, my 97 harness worked with the L injectors.

i think the injectors could be part of the problem only because your tune.

were they clean?

second thought after post, your not running the L maf right now with 19# inj right?

no i dont have either yet im gettin the maf and injectors in a package..they are both plug n play correct?..the injectors were only cleaned with mineral spirits so it wasn't the best..i think to prob is just not enough fuel though..so im babying my truck right now...the connections on the injectors on a lightning are the same as my truck correct?..thanks again..

yeah those were both plug n plan on my truck. do you have a wideband? im curious if you're just a hunch on the lean side.

shouldnt be a fuel problem considering its bogging... data log it and see whats going on with your timing when it boggs
