woodgrain trim? is still ok to have?
woodgrain trim? is still ok to have?
Looking to see what the opinions are on woodgrain interior trim..only reason I ask is b/c I am looking at some woodgrain kits for the inside of my lariat supercrew with tan leather...ive have several pieces of interior plastic trim that have chipped, or the paint has worn off...the radio surround bezel, the plastic pieces on the door handles that the switches are mounted in, the steering wheel, etc... i have looked around for a way to fix this but dont really want to get into repainting them (too much work, and its almost impossible to make it look factory which is all i want. I know I could order the parts but I would be out a large chunk of change to order all of these parts from ford if they were even still available..) so i stumbled across some woodgrain interior trim kits that would actually cover everyone of the pieces that i am currently trying to find a way to fix..so is woodgrain done? or is still a viable option for the trucks interior...and if anyone has it in theres lets see it by all means... would love to know how mine might look with woodgrain trim
Here is a link to a previous thread I posted up about my wood grain interior pieces.

The pieces that you have that are chipped and the paint is coming off, will be sanded down before the film is applied. You will not be able to tell that they were chipped(depending on how bad the chip is)

I think that woodgrain looks great with the gray interior- but what is the cost to say- do just your radio bezel for example?
You would need to email Paul Rosa for pricing info at : sales@patterntek.com
He can give you a quote asap

Paul just posted the info the other day. In order to get that pricing, you MUST be a member of VFO
so in order to do what Gator has done with many of his interior pieces, this would qualify as a huge modification/investment

huh? To get the discounted prices on whatever youre gonna do will require to register on that ford wesite. I dont think you have to buy all the same stuff Gatercrew did. Im doing just my radio surround and already registered on that site.
