lol yeah i got alot those 2 tractors you see. both weght easily over 300lbs EACH. and the rest is a bunch of stuff that was layin around. Yup no probs at all i was almost worryed about the hitch hitting the ground when i took off from a light haha... we were thinking about putting a trailer on the back with the other load but that was another 1,500 - 2,000 lbs my truck would have to tow on top of the 2,000 lbs in the bed. so we desided to leave it at home and make 2 trips. lol turning was funny too ahh good times i < 3 my lil 4.6

Thumbs up

My 97' was a 4.6L and it was a good work horse. Most people bash the 4.6L and say it is not good for anything but hauling a bag of groceries. Sure when loaded up you may not win any drag races but thats ok because towing in a safe manner is not about that.
On my 04' I got the 3v 5.4L because I plan to get a bigger TT in the not so distant future. Anyway good luck with your truck she will do most any job you throw at her.

Way to work that 4.6L, You might consider some add-a-leafs or helper/ overload springs if you're going to the scrap yard on a regular basis. I bet you could put more in the bed then.

You mean show it off overloaded?

All I see is a big red hazard on the road.

terrible payout

WOW where are you from?
Your scrap prices are BAD!
In Hamilton Ontario Canada we get $1.75 a pound for aluminum, copper is $3.60 a pound , and tin os 18 cents a pound!
You would of made a killing up here.
