Hi Everyone

I urge you all that have had problems with TruckAddons to file a complaint with the Kentucky BBB.Also if you paid with the credit card get them to go after them.
I am in my 2 month of fighting with them and they are unbelievable.
Between them and FoldaCover I dont know who is worse.
You would think multi million dollar companys would care about customer service but they dont care about anything except getting your money.
All that I have had is a major run around and lie after lie.

Has anyone had a good experience with these guys ?
I too wish I see this before I purchased anything from them.
At this point I am out $540 and all I can hope for is having this on the permanent record at the BBB.

If you can order directly from a manufacturer or someone reputable like 4 Wheel Parts. If you can buy from a store, that would be better. But above all, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRUCKADDONS!!!!!!! They screwed me for two months with no lube! Don't be another Truckaddons poor service victim! Good luck!

Tex

Free shipping isnt worth it, Find a reputable dealer and check them out before buying.
Or as I have decided, I will not buy anything on-line again. After loosing $500 Its more cost effective to buy at a local ascessory shop and pay slightly more money.
I only wish I would have seen this and the thread on GM-Trucks.com
After seeing them you would never deal with them...ever !

I guess I was lucky. I ordered a soft tonneau from these guys before I joined this forum. I got a super deal by having them beat a competitor's price. Saved almost $50 from a local store. The tonneau arrived 3 days before they promised. Based on all the other posts I guess I'll steer clear of them in the future.

Actually the first one you listed is the one I played against Truckaddons to get the lower price. Truckaddons beat them by $10 delivered. I've read a lot of good stuff about Moss Motors on this forum and others. I have their catalog. They seem to have a bunch of good stuff, but you can beat their prices if you shop around.

I shoulda looked more into them before I ordered. Just got an 05 F150 and ordered a Xtang Full Tilt from them. This was on 8-26. They sent the order to Extang on the 29th! It's now the SIXTH of September and they SHIPPED it today. I had 3 conversation with customer service and told them I ordered due to the shipping claims made on the site. They don't care. The lady I talked to was not nice and NOT helpful whatsoever. There are MANY other sites I could of spent MY money at for the same price, but I made the wrong decision. I feel as though they could care less. If anyone has a name or phone number beyond basic customer service PLEASE forward in a PM. I'm on a mission. You have my word I won't publish it. But I am out to spread the word on these guys everywhere I can. I feel 2% better now.

In contrast I ordered a bedrug from Hoosier garage and it was here in less than 48 hrs.

Hey Man,
I really feel for ya! I hate those guys! I've been treated like ***** by them in their store and with an online fiasco. All I can say is good luck and keep spreading the word against these a-holes! Damn, I get pissed just thinking about the way they treat people. Their arrogant disregard for people sucks. I gotta go get a beer. Good luck man!

Anything changed here? I did some checking and they are still not in good standing with the BBB. I want to order a Beg Rug and an Undercover from them, but there still seems to be too many negative experiences.

I ordered a hard tonneau cover and some other smaller items from them last spring, and I got great service, good prices, and free shipping.

Let's ******* them up!

For all of those who got screwed by Truckaddons:

I say we all save up our next few paychecks, drive 3,000 or so whatever miles it takes to get to their warehouse, and lets all meet up in their parking lot with our F-150's, some steel cables, gallons of paint and some bricks at midnight. Teach them not to mess with the guys at F150online.com! I'm sure the guys over in the Tundra, Silverado, and Ram forums can put aside their differences (temporarily, of course. Everyone knows F-150's are better than all those losers )and meet up with us and have a fiasco!

i ordered from them once and will never do it again.

a) their prices are way too high
b) their customer service is horrific
c) it took them 3 weeks to ship my order, then another 8 days to get here.
