I just want the music. . Help

I just bought a 2004 F-150 with the upgraded system. . 6 CD. I have always used XM in my other cars but all I want is the least expensive way to get satellite radio in my truck. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I need the part numbers also if possible. Help .. Even the stereo store is not sure.

The CHEAPEST way to get XM would be to buy an external unit for your truck. look into the xpress from xm, good nice priced unit.

I have an Xpress and I love it! I'll be installing the PIE module this weekend to play via The AUX port and attempt to hard wire it a little later.

Well,

I got the PIE unit installed (tapped into the 12V outlet for power) and it sounds great! Now I'm thinking about adding another cig. lighter outlet behind the dash to power the Xpress.

You could always just get a plug and play kit for $50 and go that route. It isnt going to have as clean of a look as an in-dash kit, but thats the most inexpensive route.
Ive got a plug and play Sirius unit in my truck and I love it. I actually like it better than an in-dash unit because I can take the reciever out of my truck and I have a Sirius boombox in my house that I plug the reciever into and can listen to it at home too. Im listening to Sirius right now actually...

+1
I have the Sirius Starbase, I mounted it on top of my steering column shroud, the starbase is one of THE smallest units I've seen, so it blends in nicely, I've got it wired to my LINE IN on my JVC only downside is that it isn't portable.. I'll post a pic later

I love my plug n play unit. I have the factory unit and don't even use it. I have the factory antenna hooked to my radio so no magnet antenna needed and I have also run the power to this unit behind the dash since I took this picture. I bought the unit at Radio Shack and I got the 2 year warranty which I have already had to use once and they gave me absolutely no hassle about it! They usually have good deals due to mail in rebates.
