I have the same head unit as Bryan. It is an awesome unit and fits great in the dash. It looks like it belongs there.

Another vote for the Alpine IVA-W200 It's my first screen HU and I love the fact that it plays MP3's/WMA's burned to a DVD. It replaced my Alpine 9835 (another excellent HU if you are looking for a single DIN, no screen radio) that was stolen earlier in the year

I think I'm on board with the Alpine W200 for my '05 Lariat - Sirius, bluetooth, and backup cam capable, my three must haves. The Ipod capability is a bonus (add-ons, I know). Two questions for anyone who has been there:

1) Where's a good place to buy from? Good pricing, and just as important the availability of an install kit to make wiring easier is a plus. Crutchfield? Ebay?

2) What's the procedure (if even possible) to disable the lockout so that DVD's can be played while driving?

Thanks!

P.S. Thanks for the comments and pictures guys, a HUGE help.

I purchased mine from www.savinglots.com. Great price, fast shipping and had no problems at all. I got the install kit from crutchfield. Thats all I ever use them for. They are way to expensive for anything else. Then go to ebay and get the PAC-TR7 video bypass and you'll be all set. I think the bypass cost me $20 and that came with a toggle switch.

This is mine, a little outdated bieng a deh-6600 Pioneer. I love the thing and it was well under 300 bucks. Well worth it in my opinion. The install bracket was fairly cheap, but be careful, it can break easy.

It's expensive ($700) and bulky but it integrates into the W200 and plays the directions over the screen and through the speakers. It will even display the instructions over the monitor while playing music through the speakers which I think it's pretty cool. One thing I just found out is that the Blackbird has a memory slot that allows you to store MP3's and WMA's and can play them over a factory radio via an FM Transmitter (it will also broadcast the instructions for the Nav the same way as well).

Pricey but I plan on getting one
