Saturday and Sunday August 12/13 F150 meet at Pismo Beach

Where? Pismo Beach, CA (central)

Pismo Beach is the location we decided on as it's very close to the middle of SoCal and NorCal, we're going to camp in our trucks and/or tents. If you have an RV/Camper you're welcome to bring that. There will be several lifted trucks attending and a couple lowered so don't be shy, if you can make it let us know. Pismo Beach is a driveable beach, there will be no shortage of Ford power so bring what you got, it won't get stuck for long. (got that from Josiah)


When? August 12/13

Most of us will be getting there early Saturday. The earlier the better. I think a few of us will be getting there Friday if I remember from the last meet. Many of us are going to sleep in our trucks and/or tents so bring what you need. If you would like to stay just for the day that is fine as well although many of us will be traveling 300+miles and I suggest staying the night. You will have a good time.


How? Convoys

Im not sure how to answer a "how" question but we will setup covoys as soon as we find out who can make it and from where. I am from NorCal (Bay Area) and I am willing to convoy down early Saturday morning. Nothing would look more awsome that a bunch of F150s crising down the highway. If someone from SoCal would like to setup a convoy down there(maybe Brypink) that would be great. I am sure Josiah will be comming along with me so if you would like to tag along with two lifted F150s, let us know.


What? Everything and Anything, Whoever and Whatever

Bring whoever you want. Girlfriends, friends, moms, dads, aunts, grandmas, pets, neighbors, roomates, or brother-in-law's step-dad's roomate's neighbor's girlfriend's mom. Whatever you get the point. But most of all we will need people to bring supplies. Here is the tentative list. If you would like to bring something please let us know so we dont get multiple things brought.

This is gonna be another one of those things where I dont know until the week before. My work schedule is so volatile and subject to change at any given time, so who knows? Plus, if the wife doesn't wanna roll, I'm not going by myself. We'll see....

Hey Joe I like you photochopped the new truck onto the beach

 

I'll be going and taking the trailer. I do have to verify that my friend isn't using the trailer on those dates. I'm not sure if I can make it up on Friday (the 11th), although I'm gonna try. I'll make reservations when I get home tomorrow.

I suggest that everyone makes reservations so it wont be an issue...I know I'm going to.

 

Going up early?

Mike - thanks but I really need to buy another digital camera, then Ill make something cool. Ive broken the last 2. 1, I somehow caught that stupid strap in the door of my old lariat and first slammed the door on the camera, then it fell on the ground ( while holding ex girls daughter ) then 2, last one was out drinking with buddies and went to show a picture on it and dropped on the ground and broke some pieces inside...

I'm thinking about it. I would like to leave early enough Friday to get there in time to find a spot (if no one else is there) and get the trailer set-up before dark.

We rotate working on Fridays and that's my Friday to work. I just got to see if one of the other guys will swap with me. Shouldn't be a problem.
