Relays?

Got a question, oriented towards electrical knowledge...

I currently have four six inch Hella lights on my brush guard, they're wired through two relays (two lights per), I've upgraded these lights in favour of four LED's (discovered the current lights don't put out half the light just one LED would).

Question I have is...should I use the existing relays or wire the LED's directly to power?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my knowledge of things electrical could be written on the back of a matchbook with a crayon.

Thanks ahead of time,

Doug

You'll be fine using the relays. Once on, the relays provide a direct path to the battery without the need for larger gauge wires running to the switch(es).
