Steering really tough on a 06 (SOLVED)

May have to take this in, but can anyone offer up suggestions why my power steering all a sudden feels 'lack of'? About a year ago, I got advice from a auto shop that my steering linkage, from the firewall to the rack below, was binding up. I ended up just frequently lubing this with grease, which made an improvement. But as of recently, it just feels like the the power steering has gone out all together. Is it possible to lose a power steering pump, but still retain the fluid inside? I don't have any leaks. The issue seems be consistent where the steering wheel is hard to turn all all speeds

I lube my 2 steering shaft u-joints with ZEP 45 and it keeps working great. $20 a can but last longer than other lubes. I will replace it when and if u-joints get loose. When they seize up, it feels like you have no power steering. Steering doesn't want to return after making a turn! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intermediate...704161&vxp=mtr

Issue resolved. I ended up replacing the shaft last night with a Dorman 425-361 Steering Shaft from Amazon:

...........Price was right enough with my PRIME membership. Install took about 1.5hrs. Just had limited room to work on the two bolts holding it in. But once installed, my steering is nice and smooth again.
