Im thinking about doing this exhaust..video inside
Heres the video...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1zGU...eature=related
Specs.
-4" dual straight pipes off of a dodge diesel.
-it is stock pipes into 3" pipes into dual 4" pipes.
-cats intact
I love the sound of this exhaust, but am hesitant cuz I dont want it crazy loud but it sounds so good in the video. Any drawbacks on having 4" pipes? Backpressure? He has a vid of him doing a burnout so it seems like its not losing any power.

No its not a true dual, the 5.4 has the pipes that come off the cats into one 2.5" pipe then on the truck in the video it goes into a 3" then Y's into a 4" dual going all the way to the back.
Im thinking it will be fine, if you think about guys that do a 3" pipe into a straight through muffler like an Aero AT3030 and 45ing it before the rear wheel, theres not much backpressure on those.
