Power Inverter Installation - The Right Way
#16
Thanks for the idea!
My '01 Supercab was recently totalled, and I now have a '01 Screw. It's also my work truck. I've carried a 1500 watt inverter mounted in front of the center portion of the front seat in the old truck, but it doesn't fit there in the Screw and look right. I've been trying to figure out exactly what to do with it since I got this new truck. I think I may have just found the answer, Thank You!!

Great write up! Yea, I run two Cobra Inverters , - One being a HG P1500 (500 amps) and a another little on that plugs into a power port (don't use that one much any more). Connected thru a direct cable solder in into a 130amp 3G system.
It runs every thing I need it for, well so far anyway. I wouldn't mind having a dual deep cycle marine set up with the inverter power to run a small cabin out in the woods. That would come in handy, -so will this write up
