When it comes to trucks, they’re always better if they’re working. Of course, that isn’t to bash anyone who uses their rig simply for the daily commute. It’s just then when a rig is used for real tried and true work — such as off-road sports, hauling the family on trips, carrying heavy loads, or driving throughout the ranch — they are being used for a purpose that was more fully intended for them.

After all, those are all things that most cars really can’t do, which was the reason behind the invention of trucks. While not everyone may agree with this, it would seem clear that a working truck is being used in the way they were always intended.

Today we’ll be stepping into F150Online member Raoul‘s garage, and taking a closer look at his Ford truck that lies within!

Located on “the moral high ground,” Raoul spends his time herding goats. A noble profession, we would say. Of course, with this as his occupation, it only makes sense that a truck would be the correct vehicle for the job.

Scratch that — a Ford truck would be the correct vehicle for the job. Thus, Raoul picked up a 1999 Ford F-150 Lariat, and it seems to be serving him well. But who would expect anything different? Ford trucks were made to work, whether that means in the goat herding profession, the construction business, or anything else.

Go stop by Raoul’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great day. Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on MY RIDE!
