Any 2011 SD items rolling down to 150's???
 

I'm ready for a new truck, and only need a 150 instead of the old dually. I work out of it as a Field Supt., so carry safety, small tools and test items plus a lot of reports to do on the sites, etc. The new Super Duties have the console that holds drop-in files as well as a laptop; locking floor storage area, upfitter switches and a built-in power inverter. Those are all things I could use, but I have absolutely no need for a SD.

Does anyone know or has heard if these will flow down to the 150-series? I remember when the trailer brake controller wasn't available except 250 and up, but it has made its way to the 150. Surely FoMoCo knows that we work out of these 150's also, and could use this stuff!!!

well i know that the raptors have upfitter switchs and maybe the huge center console but everything is fixable with the right mechanic

The new f150s have the drop in file storage and lockable center console (lock is a joke) that will fit a laptop. Plenty of mounts available as well on the Internet. Mine has a built in power inverter w/ 110 outlet intergrated in the console. No floor storage but the most room I've ever seen in the rear of the supercrews of any truck. I have also seen the raptor uplifted switches installed in the regular f series but it was an expensive conversion from what I remember. Hope that helps.
