Exclamation How to obtain the BFG AT T/Ako 285/70R17

You'll get the run around no matter who you call, unless you can deal directly with a distributor, even the TireRack or 1010Tires.com. The only way to get this tire is to have your dealer call this number: 1-800-847-3435 and have them order stock number: 57974. They are available all over the country except for the Missouri Area.

Thanks for the info, I ordered mine today. I've been waiting to see these released for months and wasn't aware they were out.

Ordered them through a friend that runs a Sears Auto Center. I had just ordered a set of Michelins from him yesterday and changed that once I found out this size was available. He said that once he was armed with this information he was able to call their help desk and get a Sears stock number. He wasn't aware that this tire was available yesterday either, if so I would have ordered it. I got the whole package, liftetime balance, alignment, road hazard etc. It was about 9 C notes. We'll see what they look like next week.

See some pics

I'd really like to see some pictures of these once you get them installed. Can you put some up?

No kidding, sorry, but I'm glad I'm not the only one. I tried all last weekend to get a hold of them, not happening. When I have cash in hand, things will change though. I'm still torn between the 285 BFG, and the 33" Pro Comp though. I checked out some 33x12.50R16.5's yesterday in the BFG AT's and they are freaking HUGE!!! I love the way the BFG's treads are so wide, but I wonder how the 285 will compare to the 33's.

1010tires...

has some of the best prices on BFG tires I have found...I actually have not found any place better for a 305/70/16 BFG Mud Terrain or 265/7017 BFG All Terrain. I plan on ordering from these guys after I get my lift and new Weld Mountain Crushers.

Got'em on. I'm going to wash them up before I take the picture. Must say I like the stiffer sidewall. I had forgotten what they felt like. Probably have the pictures up tomorrow.

Got the pictures right here. Not sure how to put them in the body of text. I'll try and put them in my gallery.

I'll try this.

You have to look at the partial pick of the tire pretty close but you can see the size.
