Pirelli Scorpion Zero 275/55/17 ????

Has anyone tried the Pirelli Scorpion Zero 275/55/17 ? After a lot of reseach I have concluded that I need a 275/55/17 tire. I have some chromed oem F150 "buzz saw" rims in 17x7.5 that need tires! I currently have the stock 16s with 265/75/16 tires with a 35 psi. Not good!

I am looking for a V or Z rated tire with a wide tread and aggressive tread design that tracks every little bump in the road so that I have very sensitive steering. I need a short and very stiff side wall tire with a high psi (50 or above) with little or no sidewall flex to take advantage of my recent supercharger install and to reduce body roll in crosswinds and curves (already have 2/2 drop, front/rear swaybars and hard bed cover).

I have found the Zeros at discount tires.com for 155 per tire. This includes shipping.

What do you think????????????????????????

I have been focusing on researching what tire to get. I have been trying to get as close to the stock lightning 295/45/18 height (28.5) and width. I came to the conclusion that a 275/55/17 would do the trick. Now find a tire! The Pirelli scorpion zero seem to have what I need. But they are $620 (at Discount tire Direct) to $645 (at the Tire Rack) delivered! when I try locally, they are $740 and up!!!!!!!!! What the?

So I looked into the Continental 4x4 tire. It comes in a 275/55/17 and is a V rated tire and it is only $391.12 delivered from the Tire Rack!!!!!!! But, it is an offroad all terain tread. I do 90% street driving but I will need drivable tires this winter. What do I do???????????????????????????????????????????????? ?

2000regcab54,

Hey! I tried to email you. What do you think about the tires, how do they perform on curves, crosswinds, off the line? Did you buy them off the internet or locally??????? Details please!
