Question Pro Comp Rub and Trim

All those with 33x12.5x17 Pro Comp AT's on your truck - who had to trim to stop rubbing or encountered frame rubbing - who did not on standard 4X4 models with no lift and stock 17x7.5 rims.
I really want to buy a set, but want them to fit without issue.

Thanks,

Wink pro-comps

I just installed the Pro-comp at's on stock 17" ORP aluminum
rims. No rub on valance or frame. I removed the lower valance
trim strip ( attaches with screws) and I trimmed the lower inside corner of the valance taking about a two inch triangle. I did this
because I use the truck offroad and just wanted to be sure. I left the lower trim strip off because it makes the tow hooks more
accesible. great tire, quiet on the road and very capable in the dirt. 33 12.50 X 17 will fit without issue.

Too late, but thanks

I ordered the tires online, and 4whheelparts contacted me as to the lift status of my truck. When I stated stock they said the tires would rub "a little" - so we agreed to cancel the order. Only problem is they have yet to credit back my credit card for $599.85. So far it has been nearly three weeks, several e-mails and unanswered calls - I have turned the whole mess over to my credit card company. Most expensive tires I never got !!
