I was just asking this question two weeks ago and here is what I found out.
The 1997-98-99 years have 12mm studs, the 2000 and up have 14mm studs. Both wheels are hub centric where the wt is held by the center hub. What that means to you is the wheels should fit fine since the center hub is the same but you will have to get early model (12mm) chrome lug nuts. Also, the center caps will not fit the smaller lug nuts used on the earlier wheels. The fix is to bend the tabs on the center caps (which did not work for some) or purchase center caps from earlier F150's.
I ended up going with after market wheels.
Good luck.

I know they are available from the dealer. If you do a search on lightning wheels and look back on posts that address post 2000 lightning wheels on early f150 I think there were a couple of post on other sources of early lug nuts.
Maybe someone else here can help.

I had my sunroof installed almost 5 years ago and at that time it was about $600. It is made by Hebasto (Modle L) and is very good quality. Lifetime warrentee on leaks and mechanism. This sunroof automatically lifts then opens back over the roof. Really opens up the inside.
