I think I am recalling that 2000 was the first year of the different bolt pattern ( 14 mm ).
I think that you have the 12 mm ??

Check around, but I think that they will not work.

The bolt pattern is the same, the stud size is different. You have 12MM studs and the Lightning has 14MM. The wheels will work on your truck just fine. I had my brothers 2000 Lightning wheels on my 2000 F150. I have 12MM studs also.

That was it, I knew there was a difference, but could nto recall where the 12 mm and 14 mm came into play at...thanks for correcting that.

So only the L changed with the Gen 2 to 14 mm, where the F150 stayed the same ?

Would that then mean he would need difference lug nuts for these ?
I seem to recall on a web site for L knock-offs wheels that they had lug nuts for this type of change.
I guess it was for the 12MM lug that were thicker nuts themselves to help fill the 14 mm void ( now that lug nut statement makes more sense ) ?

Actually all of the F150s changed to 14mm studs I believe in mid-year 2000 (early build 2000 model year trucks still have the 12mm studs)...

My truck has 14mm studs...
